The configuration of the temperature block provides a spacer and a heatsink between the fan housing and the drive motor of the fan. The drive motor is also isolated from the spacer, thus eliminating heat transfer.
The temperature block can also be used as a centrifugal disc (e.g. to reject water droplets). The ambient temperature must not exceed 40° C. The temperature resistance of the fan depends on the speed of the drive motor. This must be specifically observed on controllable fans.
