Manfred Griesinger
Managing Director

As a user of our website, you will receive in this data protection statement all necessary information on how, to what extent and for what purpose we or third party providers collect and use your data.

The collection and use of your data is strictly in accordance with the provisions of the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), German data protection law in accordance with the Law on the Adaptation of Data Protection Law to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and to Implement Directive (EU) 2016/680 (DSAnpUG-EU) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG) to the extent applicable.

We are committed to the confidentiality of your personal data and work strictly within the limits set by law.

The collection of this personal data takes place on a voluntary basis, when this is possible for us. Also, we only pass on this data to third parties with your express consent.

We ensure high security for particularly confidential data, such as payment transactions or for your requests to us, by using SSL encryption.

At this point, we would like to draw attention to the general dangers of Internet use, over which we have no influence. Especially in email traffic your data is not safe without further precautions and may be collected by third parties.

Terms used

"Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter the "data subject");  a natural person is considered as identifiable, who can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by means of assignment to an identifier such as a name, to an identification number, to location data, to an online identifier (e.g. cookie) or to one or more special features that express the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of this natural person.

"Processing" means any process performed with or without the aid of automated procedures or any such process associated with personal data. The term is a broad one and includes virtually every operation involving data.

"Data controller" refers to the natural or legal person, public authority, body or other office that decides, alone or in concert with others, on the purposes and means of processing personal data.

Determinative legal principles

In accordance with Art. 13 EU GDPR we inform you about the legal principles of our data processing. If the legal principles are not mentioned in the data protection statement, the following applies:

  • The legal principles for obtaining consent are to be found in Art. 6 (1) letter a and Art. 7 EU GDPR

  • if you have consented
  • if a legal obligation provides for this or
  • on the basis of our legitimate interests (for example, the use of agents, web hosts, IT maintenance contracts, etc.)

If we commission third parties to process data on the basis of a so-called "contract processing order,” this is done on the basis of Art. 28 EU GDPR.

  • takes place on the basis of your consent
  • takes place on the basis of a legal obligation, or
  • takes place on the basis of our legitimate interests.

Subject to legal or contractual permissions, we process or have the data processed outside of the European Union only in the presence of the special conditions of Art. 44 ff. EU GDPR. This means that the processing is e.g. on the basis of specific guarantees, such as the officially recognized declaration of a level of data protection corresponding to the EU requirements (e.g., for the US through the “Privacy Shield”) or in compliance with officially recognized special contractual obligations (so-called "standard contractual clauses").

Personal data

If we collect personal data, we only collect it in the context of data reduction and data economy to the extent and for the time required to use our website or as required by law.

When we collect personal information - such as your name, address or email address - this data collection is voluntary. Without your explicit consent, this information will not be disclosed to third parties.

We take the protection of your personal data seriously and adhere strictly to the relevant legal provisions and to this privacy policy when collecting and processing personal data.

Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These small text files are stored on your PC from our server.  They support the presentation of our website and help you to navigate our website.

Cookies collect data about your IP address, browser, operating system and Internet connection. We do not associate this information with personal data and do not share it with third parties.

Under no circumstances do we use cookies to introduce malicious programs or spyware on your computer.

You may also use our website without the use of cookies, which may result in limited representation and functionality of our offer.

If you want to deactivate the cookies, you can do this through special settings of your browser. Please use its help function to make the appropriate changes.

Content and services from third-party providers

The offer on our website may also include content, services and offerings of other providers that complement our offer. Examples of such offers are maps from Google Maps, YouTube videos or graphic representations of third parties.

Calling up these services from third parties regularly requires the transmission of your IP address. This makes it possible for these providers to use your user IP address and also to save it. We prefer only those third party providers who use the IP address solely to deliver content. However, we have no control over which third party providers may store the IP address. This storage can serve statistical purposes. Should we become aware of third-party storage practices, we will immediately notify our users of this fact.

In this context, please also note the special data protection statements for individual third-party providers and service providers whose services we use on our website. You can also find this information in this data protection agreement.

SSL encryption

Our website uses SSL encryption when it comes to the transmission of confidential or personal content of our users. This encryption is activated, for example, in the processing of payments and requests that you make to us through our website.

Please make sure that the SSL encryption is activated on your part during activities. The use of encryption is easy to recognize: the display in your browser line changes from "http://" to "https://." SSL encrypted data is not readable by third parties. Submit your confidential information only with activated SSL encryption and contact us in case of doubt.

Google AdWords

Occasionally we use an online advertising program from Google Inc. on our website, Google AdWords. This also includes conversion tracking.

With this tool, Google AdWords sets a cookie on your PC when you visit our website via a Google ad. The cookie loses its validity after 30 days. It is not used for personal identification.

If you visit our website as a user and the cookie is still working, we and Google will recognize that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to our site. Each Google Adwords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked through the websites of AdWords customers.

The data gathered using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers. As customers, we are informed of the total number of users who responded to our ad and were redirected to a website that was provided with a conversion tracking tag.

We do not receive any information in this process that could personally identify you as a user. If you decline the tracking process, the cookie of the Google conversion tracking can be deactivated via your Internet browser. If applicable, use the help function of the browser for further information.

For more information about Google's data protection regulations, please see: http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Analytics

On our website we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. This service uses cookies.

These are text files that are stored on your PC and that allow an analysis of user behavior in regard to our website.  The cookies generate information that is transmitted to a Google server. These servers are as a rule located in the United States, but they are based on agreements for use in the European Economic Area and they shorten your IP address before it is sent to the United States.

Only in exceptional cases will the IP address be shortened after transmission to the USA.  Google evaluates the information provided and in this context provides other services for website operators. The transmitted IP address is not merged with other Google services.

You can prevent the storage of cookies on your computer by means of a corresponding modification of your browser settings. However, this may be associated with display and functional restrictions when using our website.

A browser plugin also prevents the collection and use of the data generated by the cookies. You can download it at the following link:  https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

The operator of Google Maps is Google Inc.

It is located in the USA, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043.

By using Google Maps on our website, information concerning your use of this website and your IP address is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

We have no knowledge of the exact content of the transmitted data, nor of its use by Google. In this context the company states that the data is not used in connection with information from other Google services or in the collection of personal data. In any case, Google can transmit the information to third parties.

If you deactivate Javascript in your browser, you thereby prevent the operation of Google Maps. As a result you will be unable to use any map display on our website.

By using our website you state your agreement with the above-described collection and processing of information by Google Inc.
